Oh spring and baseball season! How I missed you! We went to the day after the opening day for the Rockies... and they played the Phillies... and they lost. But, maybe they'll have a good season this year? Maybe?
A few times now I have been walking to or from work, and towering over the top of one of the piers I will see a HUGE ship. Once it was a cruise ship, but I was late to work and didn't have time to take a picture. But this gal was even bigger.
There are these plaques all down the Embarcadero at the Muni stops. This is one of the two at my stop near work. It was raining and I thought the poem fit the mood of San Francisco today.

Speaking of bottle caps, my parents brought these home from New Zealand. Aren't they adorable? I'm planning on making them into earrings.
So you can't really see it in this picture (aside from the drops on the camera lens) but it was a sunny day, and all of a sudden it started raining, and pretty hard too! At the very least you get a shot of a pretty cable car.

The MUNI tracks near my house. Supposedly the train could switch directions here, but I've never seen it happen and this has been my MUNI stop for over 10 years. And those are California poppies between the tracks, but they are closed for the evening.
This morning D made breakfast, and we only had two eggs left. But lo and behold, when he cracked open the second egg, there were two yokes! Thank you chicken, for providing us with a little more protein this morning.
